The heart of the Christian community is our Triune Lord: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Geography, history, and numbers are not the heart, but probably I will type mostly on these topics. As the internet already provides many encouraging spiritual guides and discouraging contentious forums, I intend to offer neither.

St. Joachim, Cedarhurst




St. Joachim church is located at 614 Central Avenue, Cedarhurst, New York 11516, telephone 516-569-1845.  The parish website is linked here.  This is at the intersection of McGlynn Place.


Above is the Fatima shrine.


Across McGlynn Place, Kulanu, a service for children with special needs, purchased the parish school.

This editor notes that the parishes of St. Joachim and St. Joseph have Jewish men as patron saints.
