The heart of the Christian community is our Triune Lord: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Geography, history, and numbers are not the heart, but probably I will type mostly on these topics. As the internet already provides many encouraging spiritual guides and discouraging contentious forums, I intend to offer neither.
To find a parish, enter a keyword in the search box at the top left, or look through the labels and links down the right-hand column. The posts themselves follow the Blogger format of newest items on top.

St. Paul the Apostle, Brookville

Established in 1962, the parish of St. Paul the Apostle is located at 2534 Cedar Swamp Road (NY highway 107), Brookville, New York 11545, telephone 516-935-1880.  The parish website is linked here.  Located adjacent to Jericho High School and across the road from the State University of New York at Old Westbury, the extensive grounds of the parish lie just inside the Village of Brookville.  The church was built in 1966.
Any photo may be enlarged by clicking on it.  The above photo of the Mass schedule was taken in early April, 2012.

The church is to the left of the photographer.  The rectory is beyond the tree and along the entrance drive.  Jericho High School is in the distance.

Apparently, teams from Holy Trinity Diocesan High School, Hicksville, are among those using the three ball fields.
