Corpus Christi parish stands on the southwest corner of Willis and Garfield Avenues in Mineola. The altar is at this Willis Avenue end of the church, and the door shown in the above photo is not an entrance. Please enter from Garfield Avenue. The above two photos were taken on May 13, 2012, as people assembled for the 8:30 a.m. Mass in Portuguese. It is the feast of Our Lady of Fatima. Any photo may be enlarged by clicking on it.
On Searing Avenue are two buildings that once formed the parish elementary school. They are joined by a bridge at the second floor. Religious education and a youth center use these buildings now. This view looks west towards Willis Avenue and the church.
